The Versailles Garden was built for the Palace of Versailles in France on the outskirts of Paris. Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette lived in this lavish and decadent palace. Many of the colorful gardens are surrounded by marble statues and water fountains. There is so much to see at Versailles that you may need two or three days to explore the whole grounds. You won't be disappointed though, Versailles is a must see. Tuileries and Carrousell Gardens is a famous garden you can't miss if your in Paris. The Tuileries and Carrousell Garden was originally designed for the Louvre Palace. This garden became the axis of Paris. The garden leads to Arc de Triomphe and the Grand Arc in La Defense. The garden extends from the Louvre Museum to the Palace de la Concorde. It borders along the Seine. The garden contains a wide variety of trees and a large collection of statues, including works by Coysevox and Rodin as well as more contemporary artists such as Max Ernst. In fact both the Versailles and the Tuileries and Carrousell Gardens were designed by the same person Pierre le Notre. You must see these gardens when you get to Paris you won't be disappointed.

La Jolla is located in San Diego just north of Pacific Beach. La Jolla is an upscale district full of fascinating and breath taking places. When you look out over the cliffs at Scripps Park, you can see the jagged rocks of La Jolla Cove below, where seals frolic in the blue ocean. Scripps Park runs along the wild ocean. Scripps Park offers a beautiful panoramic view located on top of cliffs. Prospect Street is a famous tourist street that runs parallel with the beach. There are many upscale shops lining this street. There are art galleries, specialty boutiques, and posh spas. They have many restaurants featuring cuisine from many country's such as India, Italian and Chinese. La Jolla is home to Torrey Pines Golf Course where the US open has been held. La Jolla is also home to the University of California, San Diego which host a world renowned medical school. La Jolla is also the home of Mount Soledad, where an Easter cross sits on a breathtaking panoramic view of the whole county of San Diego, from the northern most beaches to the borders of Mexico. This view is spectacular and is definitely worth the trip up the mountain. La Jolla is definitely worth a visit if your in the San Diego area.
