Nightlife in San Diego

Although it is sometimes overshadowed by its larger and more famous neighbor to the north, San Diego is a beautiful place to visit. If you travel there, you will find that it can be just as entertaining as Los Angeles. There are many spots to go and hang out, depending on what you’re into. In San Diego some of the best nightlife is in the Pacific Beach area. It is close to the beach and contains a host of beachside bars, dance clubs, and neighborhood pubs for watching sports or just mingling. All of them are either next to one another or within walking distance.

There are many clubs in Pacific Beach, often shortened to "PB." Some of the most popular are the Firehouse American Eatery, RT’s Long Board Grill, and The Tap Room. If you’re in the downtown area, also known as the Gaslamp Quarter, you'll be pleased to know that it boasts some of the best hotel chefs and clubs in the city. Like Pacific Beach, there are many clubs and bars to relax in and meet people; only the styles are different. San Diego isn’t overwhelmingly large; it’s a compact city with sixteen square blocks of exuberant hotels, clubs, and restaurants to experience. It compensates for size with the adaptation of “Sky rise” hotels and fun activities.

One downtown destination worth checking out is Club Envy, which is the newest and hottest club at the moment. While you're in the area, there is also the Attitude Sky Lounge and the Moonstone. San Diego nightlife is suited for all different kinds of people. Find what you like, relax, and enjoy.
