The nightlife in Beverly Hills is like no other social life in America. The Sunset strip is almost world famous, because this strip has been in several movies, and has had a couple of movies named after it. It has everything you are looking for in night time social life, such as dancing, comedy clubs, jazz, blues, live band venues, pool halls, karaoke, adult entertainment, and bars.
Since this is the city where most movies are made, you shouldn't be surprised when you are rubbing elbows with a celebrity on the dance floor. You also shouldn't be surprised when you find that there is a long wait to get into the best clubs. The Roxbury is one of the most popular dance clubs on the strip. You probably will have at least a 45 minute wait to get in, unless you go through as a VIP.
The Viper Room is another hot spot in Beverly Hills. This place holds 250 people, with two floors and monitors all over, to watch the band on anytime you look up. The Avalon Night Club is a historic night spot in Hollywood. This is the first place The Beatles played on the west coast in 1964. The Avalon has kept its rich tradition while staying current with the times.
The House of Blues is where you will see all the entertainment you can handle. On any given night, you can see anyone there, from B.B. King to ZZ Top. Be sure to get your tickets early, because they always sell fast.
