New York's the place to be if you're a night owl, because you never run out of places to have fun. A country bar you might check out is Silverado's, which plays top 40 country tunes. They also have good old country line dancing as well. Another favorite spot is Rusty's, although don't be surprised if when you go there's a line to get in. Rusty's has a small dance floor and plays mostly 80s and newer songs.
Try going to lower Manhattan, which consists of West Village, East Village, and Greenwich Village. Most of the nightclubs in lower Manhattan offer live entertainment and dancing. Enjoying the nightclub scene in lower Manhattan does not come cheap, but it is well worth the cost. A visit to McSorley's Old Ale House Saloon is worth your time. Established in 1854, Abraham Lincoln was known to visit this establishment. Another famous person who enjoyed McSorley's on occasion was John Lennon.
A new ultra lounge in lower Manhattan is called the Mansion. This is an upscale establishment that features lavish surroundings such as glass elevators, crystal chandeliers, and big name DJs. For an enjoyable evening of dancing and music, this is the place to be.
No matter what type of entertainment you enjoy, New York's Manhattan area has it all, from nightclubs to sports bars for both young and old alike. There's also a good chance that while you're hanging out in one of Manhattan's top night spots, you'll see someone famous there too.
