Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the United States. Lately, Las Vegas has been marketing itself as a family place where there is something to do for the whole family. They have many casinos with themes. One casino's theme is New York , which has a large statue of Liberty at it's entrance. Another hotel has carnival rides taken to the extreme on top of the hotels roof. You should choose an atmosphere that your whole family will enjoy. At the casino there are many activities besides gambling. Many of the casinos have venues featuring top names that perform shows. Wayne Newton has been a Las Vegas performer for many years. They have Circus Olay which is usually a sold out show many days in advance. Circus Olay is a mixture of circus stunts and theatrics taken to the top, with exotic and captivating shows. They also have rock bands that play at one casino or another. Many of the casinos now offer game rooms for children. These rooms captivate your child's imagination with many creative and exciting games. Many people go to Vegas just to see the shows. Las Vegas has some of the best night clubs that exist. The restaurants in Vegas have changed in recent years by bringing in the top chefs across the country. These casinos cater to fine dining patrons where at least one restaurant in the casino is very fine dining. They still have really cheap food at the casinos other restaurants and cafes. Drinks are free as long as your gambling, but the cocktail waitress is so busy she only stops by your table every so often. The casinos also have shops, but their very expensive. There are a variety of activities you can do in a casino besides gamble. Las Vegas can be fun for the whole family.
