The Diversified State of Maryland

Maryland is a diverse state with many places to visit and activities to do. The Chesapeake Bay offers a wide variety of water activities. Sailing, boating, crabbing and fishing are very popular activities to do in Maryland.  Some historical places to visit are Fort McHenry, USS Constellation Historical Ship, C & O Canal and much more. The Inner Harbor in Baltimore is home to the National Aquarium, which is the best in the country, has 16,500 specimens and 660 species of animals. The exhibit titled ,"Open Ocean" features many species of sharks which is very fascinating. There is also a Science Center at the Inner Harbor that offers a hands on experience. There are numerous restaurants surrounding the Inner Harbor that feature Maryland's specialty seafood. Be sure to try a crab cake or stemmed crabs both are excellent cuisine. Maryland is on the ocean and the town of Ocean City is a popular Maryland resort that attracts families from up and down the east coast.  I've just mentioned a few places to visit and things to do in Maryland, but there is much more that Maryland has to offer. This is one state you'll want to visit.
