Ocean City, Maryland a Place for Family

Ocean City, Maryland is a pleasant vacation spot for the whole family. There is a 10 mile stretch of Atlantic Ocean beach on one side of Ocean City and a huge bay on the other side. On the beach during the day you can go swimming, boggie boarding, surfing, parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing, boating or fishing.
There is a famous boardwalk that is 3 and 1/2 miles long which runs parallel to the ocean. On the boardwalk you can find all walks of life. At night, it's fun to sit down and watch the people on the boardwalk, they provide the night's entertainment. You see people from all walks of life. There are shops on the boardwalk selling anything you can imagine. There is an amusement park at the end of the boardwalk for the kids. There are also many  restaurants featuring the specialty, seafood. There are bars and nightclubs featuring all kinds of music for older and younger crowds.
There is a fishing tournament in August,"The White Marlin Open", that attracts many visitors from up and down the east coast. There are charter boats that can take you deep sea fishing for shark,  tuna, dolphin or wahoo. You can also charter a boat to go flounder fishing. There is something for the whole family in Ocean City, Maryland.
