Geneva in Switzerland, sits at the southwestern corner of alpine Lake Geneva, between Jana Mountains and the Alps. The lakefront in Geneva is one of beauty. As you stroll along the lake they're are beautiful flowers of many colors set in a background of distinguished old mansions. The lake has many swans and ducks fluffing their feathers on one of the many bridges. If you cross the Mont-Blanc Bridge toward the left bank you'll find a beautiful English Garden. At the garden you'll see the world famous flower clock. The second hand is the largest second hand in the world. This garden has a spectacular spectrum of colorful flowers that are a delight to the eyes. The Jet d'Eau is a fountain of water with water rising 140m in the air. You see a rainbow of colors as the water shoots into the air. Be sure to see this at night with the lights it's fascinating. The old-town can be visited by climbing up hills and steps so be sure to wear walking shoes. St. Peters Cathedral sits at the very top of old-town. The cathedral is a hodgepodge of styles. It has a Neoclassical facade with a Romanesque and Gothic Church. The church on the inside has beautiful stained glass windows that lets streams of colorful light into the church. Geneva has scrumptious chocolate and high quality clocks or watches so be sure not to leave empty handed.
