Planting a garden is very therapeutic. When your outside and one with nature it is very soothing on the nerves. Before you begin to plant a garden, you must till the soil. To till the soil you'll need a tiller or you can do it by hand with a hand tiller. When you till the soil you must be sure to get the weeds and grass out of the soil. Be sure to turn the soil over and over. After you till the soil, you can start planning on what seeds you'll be planting. When deciding think about vegetables and fruits that you enjoy. Also, you must take into account the amount of space you have available. Plan your garden out on graph paper. After the planning is done it's time to buy your seeds. When planting your seeds be sure you space the plants correctly so they have room to grow. Before you plant the seeds, it's a good idea to add fertilizer into the hole. This will give your seeds some nutrition. After planting the seeds you want to post sticks into the ground stating what you planted. This way when the plants spring up you'll know the vegetable. After you plant the seeds you want to water the garden . This is very important, be sure to water the seeds and the ground around them thoroughly. You will be required to weed the garden periodically. By weeding the garden you'll be allowing the plants to grow to their full potential. Weeding also allows the sun to shine on the plants without any obstruction. Be sure to water and weed the garden frequently. This will allow your plants to be healthy and full of fruit. As you can see planting and maintaining a garden takes some work, but the rewards are well worth it.
