The Gardens of France
One of the best gardens in the world to visit is the Garden of Versailles. Versailles is said to be the most colorful and beautiful garden in the world. It is simply spectacular. The Versailles Garden was built for the Palace of Versailles in France on the outskirts of Paris. Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette lived in this lavish and decadent palace. Many of the colorful gardens are surrounded by marble statues and water fountains. There is so much to see at Versailles that you may need two or three days to explore the whole grounds. You won't be disappointed though, Versailles is a must see.
Tuileries and Carrousell Gardens is a famous garden you can't miss if your in Paris. The Tuileries and Carrousell Garden was originally designed for the Louvre Palace. This garden became the axis of Paris. The garden leads to Arc de Triomphe and the Grand Arc in La Defense. The garden extends from the Louvre Museum to the Palace de la Concorde. It borders along the Seine. The garden contains a wide variety of trees and a large collection of statues, including works by Coysevox and Rodin as well as more contemporary artists such as Max Ernst. In fact both the Versailles and the Tuileries and Carrousell Gardens were designed by the same person Pierre le Notre. You must see these gardens when you get to Paris you won't be disappointed.
