Las Vegas Shows
One of the many things Las Vegas is renowned for are its shows. Las Vegas shows range from family oriented shows, like Disney's The Lion King, to the adult oriented shows, like X Burlesque.
Perhaps one of the most visually stunning Las Vegas shows, O
is Cirque du Soleil's most fantastical show, which combines acrobatics
and aquatic stunts on a stage that features a 1.5 million-gallon pool.
The show features exotic instruments, stunts like a high dive, trapeze
acts, contortionists, clowns and other elements characteristic of
Cirque du Soleil shows. Tickets to this show are expensive, costing
upwards of $170.
David Copperfield is
a performer of illusions in one of the most popular Las Vegas shows.
Copperfield's world renowned ability to perform illusions is brought to
the Las Vegas stage in his show, where he performs such acts as moving
through a large piece of metal, shrinking his body inside a box, and
well as levitating objects. While he may not be the energetic and
original youth he once was on stage, Copperfield's show is still one of
the most popular and fascinating in Vegas.
Finally, Las Vegas also features a variety of erotic or topless shows. One such show is Jubilee!,
a topless show that has been running since 1981. The show features a
huge stage 50 yards in length, and features sets that include the
sinking of the Titanic. Singing, dancing and glittery, feather and
rhinestone-enhanced outfits are characteristic of this classic Vegas
style show. If you would like to see this show with the family, a 7:30
showing on Saturdays is not topless.
Shows in Vegas play to a
variety of audiences - to those who appreciate humor, those with
family, and even those looking for a more adult show. Almost all of
them have excellent production values and are a great way to be
entertained.
